After a successful appearance at NCIA’s inaugural Northeast Canna Business Conference (#NECannaBizCon) in Boston, our team is headed to sunny Florida.
On February 24th and 25th, the iconic Fontainebleau Miami Beach will play host to the 2020 Benzinga Miami Capital Conference. This high profile gathering offers industry investors, entrepreneurs, and insiders the opportunity to get together to learn and discuss the latest industry trends and changes. Vanguard Scientific is attending and sponsoring this event for the first time.

The two-day agenda is packed with opportunities to network and learn. Our CEO Matthew Anderson will be presenting at 10:40 AM EST on February 25th in Glimmer 2 room on “Making History: The story of innovation, stewardship, strategic partners, and creating the infrastructure to transform a global industry by Vanguard Scientific.”
Keynote speaker, Kim Rivers, co-founder and CEO of Trulieve, will speak on the challenges industry operators face as they seek financial backing, as well providing an overview of the marketing opportunities available in the future at “From Seed to Success: Overcoming Capital Market Challenges to Deliver Authentic Customer Experiences session”.
During “All the Buzz: Legalization and Regulations in 2020” session, Holly Bell, Director of Canna for the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs, and Juliana Stratton, Lieutenant Governor of Illinois State, will provide updates on 2020 regulations and policy development and the effect this next election year will have on federal legalization.
Retailers will use the “Canna 2.0” session to report on sales activity, emerging products, and ripples in the Canadian market due to Canada’s regulatory sanctioning for sales of canna derived products went into effect.
